Churlik first joined the company’s Wheatland Tube operations in 1999. Most recently, he served as general manager of raw materials purchasing. In his new role, he will take on the company’s enterprisewide procurement organization and raw materials purchasing functions.

Churlik’s promotion follows Mechley’s retirement following almost two decades with the company. Having joined in 2007, he served in multiple executive procurement leadership roles. He was at the forefront of the company’s traffic, scrap, purchasing and procurement activities.
