20% of India's Steel Capacity Is Up for Grabs
05/17/2018 - Acquisitive steelmakers are offering to pay the equivalent of US$14 billion for one-fifth of India’s steelmaking capacity, reports the online publication Quartz.
Quartz compiled the figure as part of a look at the ongoing bidding for the five steelmakers, which are among the 12 debt-laden companies forced into insolvency proceedings last year by India’s central bank.
