ADRITZ Approves Extension of Joachim Schönbeck’s Tenure as Its President, Chief Executive Officer
03/04/2026 - ANDRITZ announced its supervisory board has approved a five-year extension of Joachim Schönbeck’s contract to maintain his tenure as president and chief executive officer until April 2032.
“The Supervisory Board has full confidence in Joachim Schönbeck’s leadership in combining sustainable growth with further improving profitability. The extension provides continuity and stability for ANDRITZ, its customers, employees and shareholders,” said Wolfgang Leitner, chairman of ANDRITZ’s supervisory board.
Schönbeck joined the company’s executive board in 2014 and was appointed president and chief executive officer in 2022. With his leadership, the company has expanded its portfolio and driven innovation and growth within areas including decarbonization, digitalization and customer service.
