ArcelorMittal Honored as Company of the Year in Poland
03/31/2008 - The Silesian Managers' Association in the Silesia province of Poland selects ArcelorMittal Poland as the Company of the Year.
In the Silesia province of Poland, ArcelorMittal Poland was recently recognized as the Company of the Year by the Silesian Managers' Association.
ArcelorMittal Poland was selected for the award in recognition of its good technical and economic results, the positive social attitude of the staff in accepting changes, and for the Group’s overall importance to the regional labor market.
The jury also noted that the company had significantly exceeded its investment commitments.
The Silesian Managers' Association has been giving the awards to the best managers and companies for the last 7 years. The award was presented to ArcelorMittal Poland during an official gala held in Katowice and attended by a large group of managers, professors and winners of previous editions of the contest.
