Jan. 2006 — Badische Stahl Engineering, GmbH (BSE) was recently awarded a second VLB order from Chubu Steel Plate Co. Ltd., Japan.

BSE’s scope of supply comprises a Virtual Lance Burner (VLB) with oxygen and carbon injection technology system and a Carbon Injection Machine.

The system is scheduled for installation at Chubu's AC furnace at Nagoya works in the summer of 2006.
