CareGo to Automate Basic Metals’ Facility Expansion
06/03/2026 - CareGo announced it will install its TELIA automation system in Basic Metals’ new manufacturing facility in Germantown, Wis., USA.
Basic Metals’ headquarters expansion includes a new 42,000-square-foot manufacturing facility which will feature CareGo’s TELIA technology. TELIA is designed to automate, optimize and orchestrate heavy industry material handling equipment. Material can be moved, stored and staged autonomously, round the clock, the companies said.
“This technology will help us maximize our warehouse footprint, improve material flow, enhance workplace safety and create a more efficient operation for both our employees and customers. This investment is about creating a stronger foundation for the future growth of our business,” said Andy Fogel, president of Basic Metals.
CareGo’s system will integrate with Basic Metals’ existing infrastructure and is configured to meet the needs of the new facility.
Superior Cranes will supply equipment for the new facility.
