Company Proposes Iron Recovery Plant in Northwestern Indiana
08/15/2016 - A company that has been exploring coking coal alternatives said it is looking to build a plant to convert mill waste into iron nuggets, reports The Bismarck Tribune.
According to the newspaper, Bismarck-based Carbontec Energy Corp. is working with a “large, international steel company” on the project and is planning a facility capable of making 100,000 metric tons annually.
