Danieli Corus has received an order for a feasibility study from Alchevsk Iron & Steel Works (Alchevskiy Metallurgicheskiy Kombinat, AMK) located in Alchevsk, Ukraine. The study is for the reline of Blast Furnace No. 1 and is specifically intended for implementation of the "Hoogovens" Integrated Shell, Cooling and Refractory Lining System in the Bosh, Lintel Zone and Lower Stack Area. The furnace is presently stave–cooled and its condition has deteriorated over the last five years.
