Endurance Technologies Considers Las Cruces for First U.S. Facility

The project would move into a vacant 45,050-square-foot building at the city of Las Cruces’ Innovation and Industrial Park. Endurance Technologies said it expects to invest US$11 million in the project in the first three years, for a total of US$18 million investment.

State economic development officials said the processing and manufacturing plant could create about 40 jobs and bring more than US$50 million to New Mexico’s economy.

“Building this facility in Las Cruces would represent a clear vote of confidence in New Mexico’s future, recognizing the strength of our workforce, our strategic location and our commitment to smart, sustainable growth,” said economic development secretary Rob Black in a statement.

Las Cruces is one of four locations under consideration with a final decision expected in November 2025, said New Mexico economic development department spokesperson Chris Chaffin.

“We began our expansion search with multiple facilities located over multiple states and have pored over measurable business metrics that have created a short list of prospects,” said Endurance Technologies chief executive officer Jeff Pitura.

Endurance Technologies said in a press release the factors to consider in choosing the site of its U.S. facility include logistics, property availability, workforce, utility access, business climate, operating costs and lending opportunities.
