Evraz Announces Major Keystone XL Pipe Order
09/25/2009 - Evraz NA receives significant large diameter pipe order from TransCanada Corp. for a portion of the Keystone Gulf Coast Expansion Project.
Evraz Group announced that Evraz Inc. NA, its North American subsidiary, has received a significant Large Diameter Pipe order from TransCanada Corp. for a portion of the Keystone Gulf Coast Expansion Project.
The project will carry Canadian crude oil, originating at Hardisty, Alta., and terminating at a delivery point near Nederland, Texas. The 1980-mile (3200-kilometers) 36-inch crude pipeline will serve existing refineries and other markets on the U.S. Gulf Coast.
Evraz anticipates steel and pipe production on this new business to commence in 2010.
