Forecast: Indian Steel Production Poised to Double by 2032

04/18/2017 - India’s steel output is expected to double over the next 15 years as its economy grows and its citizens move toward the cities, reports the Bloomberg news service.

According to Bloomberg, steel production could reach 240 million tons over the next decade and a half. Already, India this year is expected to surpass Japan as the world’s second-biggest steel producer, Bloomberg said.
