Hadeed Sets Production Record With Support of Danieli Service
03/25/2026 - Saudi Iron and Steel Co. (Hadeed) has set a new record by producing 1,119,081 metric tons of billets in 2025 with the support of Danieli Service, the company announced.
Hadeed said that the highest month on record was October 2025, producing 103,227 metric tons of billets.
Danieli Service said it provided advisory services for producing and processing high-carbon steel grades at the Danieli continuous casting machine, electric arc furnace (EAF) and rod mill with modern BGV system. This included production of 30,000 metric tons rolled into 11-mm wire rod coils with 0.8% carbon content.
The EAF and rod mill were designed to produce 1.1 million metric tons and 0.5 million metric tons per year, respectively. They can produce billets with 150 x 150 mm sections and various special steel grades, the companies said.
