JSW Steel Opens Branded Showroom at Hyderabad
06/23/2010 - JSW Steel has opened its fourth JSW Shoppe outlet in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, in Hyderabad city. The company operates a total of 174 JSW Shoppe outlets through its dealers and plans to open 600 retail outlets by 2012.

JSW Shoppe is an exclusive retail steel outlet that displays and sells all of the company’s products, ranging from hot-rolled to color-coated steels as well as long products.
In its second year since JSW launched this retail format, JSW Shoppe has contributed as much as 16% to the company’s overall domestic sales in the financial year 2009-2010.
JSW Steel operates a total of 174 JSW Shoppe outlets through its dealers. The company plans to open 600 retail outlets by 2012.
The company notes that it is experiencing “exponential growth.” Its steel plants in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu together produce 7.8 million tonnes of steel per annum. With steel plants coming up in West Bengal and Jharkhand, the company’s target is to achieve 32 million tonnes of steel by 2020.
