JSW Steel Posts 23% Growth in Crude Steel Production
06/10/2010 - JSW Steel Ltd. reported crude steel production of 565,000 tonnes for May 2010, a 23% increase compared to the 459,000 tonnes produced in last fiscal year’s corresponding month.

The company also reported 12% growth in monthly crude steel production sequentially.
Rolled flat products showed growth of 27%, with 388,000 tonnes produced in May 2010 vs. 306,000 tonnes last May.
Production of rolled long products was up 68%—109,000 tonnes compared to last year’s 65,000 tonnes.
