KOCKS Announces Successful Start-Up of New Reducing, Sizing Block
07/18/2022 - Chinese special bar quality producer Fujian Sangang Minguang Group Co. Ltd. has rolled the first bar on its new KOCKS 3-roll reducing and sizing block, the equipment supplier reports.
According to KOCKS, the equipment was installed as part of a modernization that also included new stands and shears, a bar-in-coil line with finishing facilities and an upgraded of the inspection line.
The reducing and sizing block is set up as a finishing unit, located after 21 stands in H/V rolling mill arrangement, and will produce bar in coil in diameters of 16 mm to 48 mm and straight bars in diameters ranging from 20 to 90 mm, KOCKS said.
