05/03/2026 - Leeco® Steel announced it has promoted Will Cuadrado to plant manager of its Joshua site, Michael Graham to quality and safety technician, David Dooley and Vince Cruz to processing technicians, and Jose Batista to plant manager of its Houston site.
Cuadrado started with Leeco Steel in 2023 as a warehouse employee at its Portage, Ind., USA, plant. He relocated in June 2025 to Joshua, Texas, USA, and served in a 2nd shift warehouse position.
“From his early days in our warehouse operations to taking on increasing leadership responsibility at our Joshua facility, Will has consistently demonstrated the commitment to excellence that define strong leadership,” said Andy Polka, director of operations.
Graham joined the company in December 2024 at the Chattanooga warehouse and has since proven to be both reliable and knowledgeable, the company said.
“This new position is an important step for our Chattanooga team, and Michael’s dedication to safety and quality will help ensure we continue to grow responsibly,” said Jill Laumann, safety manager.
Dooley started with the warehouse team in June 2024. Since then, he has learned to operate various processing machines. His promotion will provide technical support to machine operations at the Chattanooga, Hamilton and Ambridge facilities.
Cruz began his time at Leeco in November 2023 on the Portage team before relocating to the Oshkosh plant as a member of the 2nd shift team. His promotion will allow him to focus his expertise on the company’s processing capabilities at the Oshkosh, Brandon and Portage facilities.
"David and Vince have built strong technical foundations in our plate processing operations and consistently shown the capability to support advanced processing across facilities. Their promotions strengthen our technical support as we continue to expand these services,” said Ryan Lang, director of advance processing.
Batista started as a crane operator at the Tampa, Fla., USA, facility in 2014. He relocated in 2017 to Houston, Texas, USA, to be a burn operator. He was promoted to lead warehouse in 2018, then served as a safety technician beginning in April 2024.
“Jose’s promotion reflects his deep understanding of our Houston operations and his long standing commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence. His progression through multiple roles has prepared him well to lead the Houston plant,” said Polka.
