LKAB Appoints Vice President Human Resources

LKAB announced the appointment of Grete Solvang Stoltz to the position Vice President Human Resources, effective September 1. In her new position, she will work from the group head office in Luleå.
 
Stoltz, 39, started her career with LKAB as a university student, working during the summers in LKAB's accounts department in Luleå. After graduation, she initially worked in accounts at LKAB's ore harbor in Luleå, later moving to the logistics department. In 1997, Stoltz moved from LKAB to SCA in Munksund, where she was employed until the summer of 2008, first as logistics manager, then as manager of human resources, and later as manager of accounts/human resources.
 
Since September 2008, she has been employed as human resources manager at Northland Resources.
 
“Grete Solvang Stoltz has a solid background and experience, nationally and internationally, in operative human resources management, both in companies and various industry organizations,” said LKAB President and CEO Ola Johnsson. “I am delighted to welcome Grete to LKAB, and I am convinced that she will bring very valuable knowledge and experience to the vital task of future HR development at LKAB.”
 
Stoltz graduated with an MBA from Luleå University of Technology in 1993.
