Mechel Implements Summer Holidays Program for Subsidiaries
08/19/2010 - Mechel OAO is continuing its tradition of corporate health rehabilitation for children of its subsidiaries’ employees. The company is providing tours to health resort facilities for the summer holidays for the seventh time.
Mechel OAO is continuing its tradition of corporate health rehabilitation for children of its subsidiaries’ employees. The company is providing tours to health resort facilities for the summer holidays for the seventh time.
The company conducts a corporate session at the coastal camp Morskaya Volna (The Sea Wave), located in the Krasnodar Territory. About 900 children whose parents work at 32 Group subsidiaries, located in 12 regions of Russia, as well as children of employees of Mechel’s Romanian plants have recreation and rehabilitation in the Tuapse region.
Teachers and psychologists have developed a program called “The Country of Mechel” for the session. The program will help the children to develop new skills and knowledge, and get a feel for their possible future profession.
Mechel notes that twice as many children have arrived to the Morskaya Volna сamp this year compared to the previous one. Parents pay no more than 15% of the tour cost and Mechel Group covers the rest of the expenses.
