MultiServ to Increase Services at V&M do Brasil

12/27/2007 - New 5-year contract between Harsco’s MultiServ division and V&M do Brasil will expand MultiServ’s responsibilities to include internal logistics as well as management of the internal yards.

Harsco Corp.’s MultiServ division will increase its on-site mill services to V&M do Brasil, one of Brazil's top producers of seamless steel tubes and part of the worldwide Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes organization. The five-year contract is expected to generate additional new revenues of more than $30 million over its duration.
 
With the new contract MultiServ's role has been expanded to include additional service responsibilities for internal logistics, including on-site product handling and warehouse support, as well as management of the mill's internal yards.
 
MultiServ has provided support to V&M do Brasil since 2002, when it was awarded a multi-year contract to provide on-site material transport services of the mill's finished and semi-finished products. The additional new services are scheduled to be phased in during the first quarter of 2008.
