OJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih recently approved a new Quality Policy, which the company says sets the direction for a substantial increase of efficiency, productivity of labor, quality improvement, and competitiveness growth by implementing the lean production system.
The policy is revised every year according to the current tasks the company is facing. The issue of customer focus and customer relations optimization has become of utmost importance, according to OJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih. The policy defines the necessity of exact specifications of consumers, clear understanding of their needs, and organizing production in strict accordance with consumers’ specifications.
“This new policy sets a clear focus on the customer and brings our cooperation with customers to a totally new level,” said Jean Jouet, CEO of OJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih. “Unlike in the times of mass production in the past, we are moving to a more targeted approach to each and every customer. We have to be more flexible and dynamic to satisfy demands of each individual customer. We have to be able to offer each customer a unique, tailor-made approach, as our advantage on the highly competitive market and our new quality policy defines this as a core priority.”
