28 February 2011 - PRO-TEC Coating Company, Inc. has placed an order with SMS Logistiksysteme, Germany, for the supply of a fully automated large-coil packaging system. The system will support the facility’s new continuous anneal line and recoiling line.

17 February 2011 - Nucor has signed a contract with Tenova HYL for the world’s largest single DR module ever to be constructed. The 2.5 million ton per year, Louisiana-based Energiron ZR plant will supply DR to Nucor’s other steelmaking facilities.
