Anshan Drops Plan for Indian Steel Plant
07 June 2012 - China’s second-largest steelmaker, Anshan Group, has scrapped a plan to build a steelworks in India because of uncertainties in resource allocations. It is, however, continuing talks for a planned plant in the USA.
Steel Development, Ansteel Form JV to Build U.S. Mills
17 September 2010 - Steel Development Co., LLC and Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corp. (Ansteel) have executed a Joint Venture Operating Agreement along with partners from the U.S., Italy, Japan, Germany, and Canada to build a steel mill in Mississippi that will produce reinforcing bar and other bar products.
