NLMK Quality Management System Certified to International Standards
07/05/2011 - NLMK has successfully passed an audit for compliance with the requirements of international standard ISO/TS 16949:2009, Quality management systems–Particular requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2008 for automotive production and relevant service part organizations.
NLMK has successfully passed an audit for compliance with the requirements of international standard ISO/TS 16949:2009, Quality management systems – Particular requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2008 for automotive production and relevant service part organizations.
The audit was conducted by TÜV SÜD, an independent German certifying agency.
As part of the audit, TÜV SÜD verified NLMK’s operating processes and working documentation, confirming quality control at all production stages. The auditors gave a positive evaluation of the company’s technical and organizational status, and confirmed compliance of its QMS processes with international requirements applied to the production of flats for the automotive industry.
Compliance with ISO/TS 16949:2009 requirements enables the manufacturer to supply to the global automotive industry. In 2010 NLMK successfully passed a recertification audit confirming full compliance of its technical and organizational level, as well as all QMS processes, with ISO/TS 16949:2009.

The certificate currently covers the production of slabs, hot-rolled and cold-rolled flats of carbon and low-alloy steel in coils and sheets, including galvanized products for the automotive industry.
