North American Corporations Want 2 Million Tons of Green Steel  

According to the RMI think tank, which is leading the effort, corporations such as Microsoft, Nextracker and Trammell Crow Co. are preparing to order near-zero emissions steel through a collective procurement platform called the Sustainable Steel Buyers Platform. 

The group is currently running a request for information process engaging steelmakers to understand the conditions needed to enable this production.
