Outokumpu has confirmed that it is in continued negotiations with ThyssenKrupp and German labor representatives related to a potential business combination of Outokumpu and Inoxum. The company had initially confirmed the discussions earlier this month.
ThyssenKrupp has announced that the ThyssenKrupp AG supervisory board will deal with a possible business combination between Inoxum and Outokumpu at a meeting next week.
Outokumpu noted that it does not intend to make any further announcements in this regard unless a definitive agreement is reached or there are material developments that require publication.
