Posco Conducts Research for Better Workplace
06/07/2010 - Posco recently launched a research group for GWP (Great Work Place) Making, which will conduct research on various factors involved in making a better workplace, as well as approaches to improve them.
Posco recently launched a research group for GWP (Great Work Place) Making.
The group will conduct research on various GWP factors involved in making a better workplace, as well as approaches to improve them, with the aim of making Posco a place where employees are proud to work.
It plans to conduct regional-specific studies by separating its business areas into Seoul/Pohang/Gwangyang/Overseas. Proposals for improvement will be made upon major GWP factors such as trust, pride, and fun, with specific approaches for different duties and age groups.
The kick-off ceremony connected the Seoul, Pohang, and Gwangyang branches through a teleconference system. Each subdivision of the group selected themes to work on, followed by group discussions and their presentation. Senior Vice President Oh In-kyung also delivered a lecture on the GWP case of Samsung Group.
