Posco-IPPC, IDPC, ICPC — Posco’s three Indian processing centers — recently launched a common online portal.
Updated daily, the new E-portal provides news about the Indian and global steel industry. Detailed profiles of the three Indian processing centers and their major business partners are also offered through the webpage, along with recent news related to the companies.
The Indian processing centers plan to upgrade the portal to include online bidding of steel scrap, as a way of securing transparency in trading. Excess inventory will also be cleared online.
Posco expects the new portal to contribute to increasing its brand awareness in India.
