Red Bud Industries Ships Processing Line
11/22/2016 - Coil processing equipment maker Red Bud Industries recently shipped a heavy-gauge cut-to-length line to a steel service center and recycler in the western U.S.
The line is bound for Pacific Steel & Recycling’s Syracuse, Utah, facility, USA, Red Bud said in a statement. The line has the capacity to handle material up to a half-inch in thickness and up to 96 inches in width. It can process coils weighing up to 40 tons.
In addition to a stretcher leveler that features Red Bud’s SURE GRIP technology, the line is outfitted with an in-line stage and load system, a dual-stub uncoiler, a heavy-gauge peeler/breaker, a crop shear, dual roller levelers, a roller inspection area, a dust collection system, servo roll feed, a variable rake shear, and a heavy-gauge drop stacker with end discharge roll-outs.
