Report: China’s Steel Output Up, Inventories Down
05/26/2020 - Output from China Iron and Steel Association member producers rose to 2.08 million metric tons per day in mid-May, the second-highest level in five years, reports commodities news and pricing service Argus.
However, steel inventories in trader warehouses fell for the seventh week in a row and are down nearly 31% from a peak in early March, Argus reported.
