Report: U.K. to Provide Multi-Million Rescue Package to British Steel
08/09/2019 - The U.K. government is creating a GBP300 million financial package to support British Steel as talks proceed on a sale of the collapsed steelmaker, reports The Guardian newspaper.
British Steel was placed into receivership earlier this year, and talks are ongoing with potential buyers.
