Ruukki Studies Options for Future of Mo i Rana Plant

The company plans to consult with approximately 110 workers affected in connection with the studies being made.
During the second half of the year, demand in the shipbuilding industry remained weak, according to Ruukki, and estimates show the level of activity to remain low for a longer period.
The Mo i Rana unit posted an operating loss of EUR 13 million for the first nine months of 2009.
