Stantec to Install Goodfellow EFSOP
at Nucor Steel Auburn

March 8, 2004 — Nucor Steel Auburn, Inc. recently placed an order with Stantec Global Technologies Ltd., Mississauga, Ont., for a Goodfellow EFSOP^™ system.

Stantec will install and commission the state-of-the-art Goodfellow EFSOP (Expert Furnace System Optimization Process) system for its electric arc furnace at their plant in Auburn, N.Y.

The new system will incorporate continuous off-gas based closed-loop process control.
