Tenova I2S Commissions New Cluster Mill for Ningbo Qi Yi Metal
07/23/2010 - Tenova I2S has commissioned its new ZR23C-31” 20 Hi Cluster Mill at Ningbo Qi Yi Metal Co. in Ningbo, China. The new mill produces precision stainless steel strip to a minimum thickness of 0.05 mm.
Tenova I2S has commissioned its new ZR23C-31” 20-High Cluster Mill at Ningbo Qi Yi Metal Co. in Ningbo, China. The company produces 300 and 400 series stainless steels.
The new mill is equipped with the latest automation and control systems that produce precision stainless steel strip to a minimum thickness of 0.05 mm. It includes Tenova I2S automatic gauge control, I2S thickness gauges, ac drives, and automatic flatness control.
The cluster mill produces stainless steels from 3.5 to 0.05 mm thickness with a strip width range of 400 to 750 mm at speeds of 600 meters per minute.
