01/23/2012 - ThyssenKrupp AG announced the appointment of Carola von Schmettow as member of the company’s Supervisory Board, succeeding Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dr. h.c. Ekkehard Schulz.
ThyssenKrupp AG announced the appointment of Carola von Schmettow as member of the Supervisory Board of ThyssenKrupp AG, succeeding Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dr. h.c. Ekkehard Schulz. Schulz had announced his departure from the Supervisory Board in December 2011.
The ThyssenKrupp AG Supervisory Board approved the corresponding proposal regarding Carola von Schmettow by the nomination committee during its meeting on January 20, 2012.
Carola von Schmettow is a member of the management board of HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG. Until the 2013 Annual General Meeting, when she will put herself up for election by the Annual General Meeting, Ms. von Schmettow is to be a court-appointed member of the Supervisory Board.
