ThyssenKrupp Awards Four Refractory Contracts to Magnesita
05/02/2011 - ThyssenKrupp awards four contracts to Magnesita Refratários for provision of refractory solutions at its Beeckerwerth, Bruckhausen, and HKM integrated facilities in Germany, as well as its CSA facility in Brazil.
Magnesita Refratários S.A. announced that ThyssenKrupp has awarded Magnesita four contracts to provide refractory solutions at its Beeckerwerth, Bruckhausen, and HKM integrated facilities in Germany, as well as its CSA facility in Brazil. Together, the contracts position Magnesita as the largest supplier of refractory solutions for ThyssenKrupp globally.
The contracts encompass four solutions under which Magnesita will provide high-quality MagCarbon, High Alumina, Burnt and Tempered Dolomite, and Monolithics, among other materials supporting the company’s refractory needs for steel ladles, converters and torpedo cars at the Beeckerwerth, Bruckhausen, HKM and CSA facilities.

Contract lengths vary with duration up to year-end 2012.
