U.S. ITC Retains Duties on Certain Chinese-Made Pipe
02/19/2016 - The U.S. International Trade Commission has agreed to retain anti-dumping and countervailing duties on seamless pipe from China.
With all six commissioners voting in the affirmative, they agreed that revoking the orders would likely lead to a recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.
The vote follows a five-year sunset review that began last year.
The order pertains to carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe. Duties were imposed following a complaint from United States Steel Corporation, V&M Star, the United Steelworkers union and TMK IPSCO.
