ZPSS Staff to Support Construction of Posco-Assan TST Cold Mill
10/04/2011 - Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel (ZPSS) dispatched five of its Chinese employees to Posco-Assan TST in Turkey in mid-September to help in the construction of the new cold-rolled stainless steel plant for 20 months.
Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel (ZPSS) dispatched five of its Chinese employees to Posco-Assan TST in Turkey in mid-September to help in the construction of the new cold-rolled stainless steel plant for 20 months.
The five supervisors have a minimum of seven years’ experience in cold-rolled stainless steel-producing facilities. Specifically, their work will include support of construction and engineering, as well as supervising, in building presses, CAPL and other related facilities.
Qingdao Pohang Stainless Steel (QPSS) is scheduled to send two of its own supervisors to the site early next month.
Launched in 1997, ZPSS has grown based on technical support from the Posco headquarters. The first comprehensive overseas steel works ever built by Posco, ZPSS will continue its efforts to become a global leader in human resource development, and play a vital role in supporting Posco’s global projects.
